I know most of you are familiar with Sunny Hill products. I was aware of some of what they made but had not owned anything from them until recently.
I purchased a drop box bottom metal and follower for a 416 Remington project. The quality is excellent and the price was not that bad when you compare to similar items.
The biggest thing I did not know about the follower until I talked to them was that it "loads" from the left side. This is supposed to be an advantage as it will allow for faster loading in the mag. I think they said this was an option on the Dakota Rifles? Anyway I got one just to say I had one.
Here are some pictures of them just out of the box.
I own two triggerguard assemblies from Sunny Hill , and the quality is excellent. I own one else from Recknagel, and I like more the Sunny Hill's ones.
You have to use the factory one. I am building a 416 Rem on a 300 WM action. I am going to try taking out the block first, if that doesn't work I'll find something else.
