Randy Lee at Apex Tactical was supposed to be really good and the guy a lot of competitive shooters used. Cylinder and Slide. Clark Custom Gun, though I've heard they're still working out kinks in transition of ownership. Grant Cunningham.

No S&W can ever be made a slick as a Python due to completely different internal mechanisms.

That's what I thought, I could see that partial black circle in the pic. We covered S&W Revolvers extensively when I went to school (MCC class of '93) and I took some 'extra' classes taught by Ron Power. The 'worthless lock' didn't exist then. The 'lockless' SMiths slick-up real nice, who knows about the newer ones with the lock, just more mechanism inside that may create drag.
