Has anybody used these rasp? RIFFLERS Chic?? Are they as good as the Swiss rasp? I was looking for the ole Swiss Grobet rasp like i used to get from Frank Mittimiers & came across these. Rather pricy but good tools are never cheap.

Alot of the "woodworking" crowd (i.e. not gunsmiths) rave about the Auriou rasp for shaping things like the claw and ball feet and various detail work.

They are pricey but so are good (i.e. swiss cut) Nicholson files...

Soon you'll talk yourself into one of those Lie-Neilsen bronze A2 bladed hand tuned planes for a couple of hundred... You know so you can cleanly shave all that quartersawn Turkish walnut you are hoarding down to a suitable rifle blank...

Doug,
I have some but rarely use them. I did like that tool site though and particularly the microplane rasps.
