I notice that Sarco is advertizing that they have a quantity of Husquavarna 98 sporting rifles in 9.3 x 57 for $300.00. Anyone else own one of these Husquvarna 98 Rifles in that Caliber. Can it be rechambered easily and safely to 9.3 x 62? Anybody buy one of these from Sarco? Pictures?

if these are swede 96 actions... i wouldn't for a x62 case on one, but 9,3x57 is a 366 version of a 358 win... not a bad deal!! jeffe opinions vary band of bubbas and STC hunting Club Information on Ammoguide about the416AR, 458AR, 470AR, 500AR What is an AR round? actually, I believe they are 98 actions, and I am wondering how tough it is to convert the 9.3 x 57 to the 9.3 x 62. anyone done it? http://www.sarcoinc.com/guns12-13.html

Yes, I have a x57 Husqvarna on a '98 action it's a great rifle. It shoots very well with Speer 270 grainers on top of 48 grains of W748. I like the x57 as is, it has plenty of knock down power for deer. It's my understanding that it's quite an easy thing to rechamber to x62. I asked a local gunsmith if he could do the job to which he said yes and that he had done over 20 such rechamberings.

Is the mag box long enough for the 9.3x62? See if a cartridge will fit.
