I would probably trust it with a banded sight or swivel (that had perfect fit), but solder anything that didn't wrap completely around the barrel. Shoot straight, shoot often. Matt

I've used it on sight and swivel bands, no problems.

Like Ted mentioned.....it is only glue. Can anyone tell me what happens when it is cooled down to say minus 20 deg F and given a little bump ?? Many glues or epoxys simply let go when frozen and given a sharp tap.

it's only glue -- but, try to part two pieces, short of a torch, that mimic what you want to put it on ... it's a GREAT, hi tech, well thought out glue... keep it in the fridge, if you have any left opinions vary band of bubbas and STC hunting Club Information on Ammoguide about the416AR, 458AR, 470AR, 500AR What is an AR round? I have had great success with Loctite 638 for attaching banded front sight ramps and sling swivel bands. It gives you about 3-5 min. working time to get straight. Ok for .010" gaps. No problem with freezing or boiling as in rust blue.
