Hey Guys, Just out of interest, what is the typical cost of blueing a CM action (M70 type - if that makes any difference)?? I'm not that much into all the technicalities, the most common form of blueing is a "hot blue" - correct?? If yes, what would the typical charge be for having an action thus treated in the US??? Thanks a lot for any answers in advance. - mike ********************* The rifle is a noble weapon... The cost of blueing varies according to the amount of prep that is required to obtain the desired finish. An un pitted action that is beadblasted and blued will run you $45.00, in my shop. A high polish will require more time in the buffing room and can result in costs of $125.oo or more. The blueing process is the same. It's the surface prep that varies.
