Why not spend an equal amount of money and have a precision action built by the likes of Nesika Bay? They make a fabulous Hunter action and can do just about anything to it that you would want. They claim a delivery time of 60 days. Might even have one on the shelf. Check 'em out... http://nesika.com/Merchant2/me..._Code=Hunter-Actions

By the time one starts spending on truing, sleeving, new bolt etc,, It may just be better to sell your rem and buy a precision built from scratch Surgeon. http://www.surgeonrifles.com/p...ducts&product_id=179

Just $776! That's a freakin' steal. Looked at their specs-- appears only to be had in a right-bolt, right-port set-up. We leftites get porked, again...

That Surgeon is a short action. The long action with flat bottom is more money.

Go to the Surgeon action spec sheet, and you will see both RSR and RLR.
