'03 or '03 A3?
Hello
I'm not familiar at all with the 1903 rifles.
Are these pics good enough to tell if this is a 1903 or a 1903 A3?
I would like to fit a scope on this and need to know which base to buy.
Thanks much [IMG]

Check under that rear sight. If 1903A3, there will be a raised dovetail for the military sight.

I mention this because I have seen two 1903A3's (according to receiver stamp and serial) with the dovetail ground off to match a 1903.

A3 - if you are scoping it, i'ld like first chance to buy the rear sight

if you are going to reblue, or have a pro do the scope, please call Jim Kobe .. that receiver is harder than MY head
