Some time back I saw a post on an aperture sight that fitted on the bolt stop of a mauser rifle(this is not the cocking piece sight). I was telling a friend about them and asked for more information but I can't remember were the thread was. Any others know about these sights as I would like to pass him some more detail. | ||

One place to put it, I guess, hopefully not jarred every time you work the bolt or moved when you remove it. A worse danger is the cross arm, which I regard as too delicate since my son accidently bent down the one on our Lyman 66. Were I to get another peep with a cross arm, I'd have the arm drilled and tapped for a stop screw on the outer side to support it once zeroed. | |||
