Knowing the AR crowd a little bit I would have to admit that there aren't a lot of folks here who like carving on their rifle stocks. Pretty much a classic type bunch who likes controlled feed rifles like mausers, winchesters, etc. | |||

They favor carving on stocks where my family hails from. Some of the young men favor carving on each other or their women folk around where I live now. I guess moderation is the key in all cases. I do like that rifle. LD | |||

yeah...I believe you are right about that one....However I can not say i will never get to own a rifle with carving, if it´s done nicely but carving is strickly an Austrian tradition or very "preussisch" way. Generally those rifles I have had in my hands with woodcarving was truly showpieces...but why not shot/hunt with a showpiece?? Nice rifle there by the way DRSS: HQ Scandinavia.
