Repairing Blackburn bottom metal

I sent my broken Rem. 700 Blackburn bottom metal to Stephen R. Heilman, Grass Valley,CA for repair on D'Arcy Echols recommendation. Steve did a beautiful job of re-welding and refinishing my bottom metal, and it was RETURNED IN TWO WEEKS AS PROMISED. I'm going to send him a custom stock very soon which needs some work, as I see he also does wood work. Thank you Steve for a job well done, and thank you D'Arcy for an excellent referral.

I've seen Mr. Heilman's welding and metal work up close. Simply amazing.

I was amazed, the whole thing, top and bottom looks like it was made in one piece. As good, probably better than new.
