are they injection molded or lay ups?

They are layups of carbon fiber (graphite), Kevlar (aramid fibers), and fiberglass.

The ones with the integral aluminum bedding blocks are pretty good stocks. I've used them on at least half a dozen rifles I've put together for different guys
