Just wondering if this would work. Could I have my Ruger .458Lott rechambered to .450 Rigby? Seems like it would be feasible. Open the bolt-face, rechamber, and fiddle with the other stuff possibly. I'm not sure though, so was just wondering about having this done, and is there anyone out there that would do this for me? Not that I don't like the Lott, it's just that I like the Rigby more-so, and the barrel is already a .458 Since Ruger has the .416 Rigby in the same model, it should feed the same as the .416 since it's the same case, only necked up to .450 Basically, I'd need this done, if it CAN be done. Who can possibly do this for me? I've rechambered single-shots before myself, but when it comes to bolt actions, and feeding work, I'm thinking I'd better get someone more qualified. Thank's. p.s.-you'll probably ask what is wrong with the Lott--well, it's not anything-I just LIKE the Rigby cartridge better(lower pressure)and new Kynoch ammo, and this seems to be a sound avenue to take if possible.
