I had a neighbor who had one several years ago. It would do anice job but it was VERY VERY slow. To duplicate a stock was an all day affair.

Sears sold a duplicator like that some years ago. I know someone who bought one, his name was Chic Worthing. The dumb shit. Never got it even put together after I saw what a pos it was. Sold it and only lost about half, lol.

the sears model of this is what started my own stock duplicator.. the head carrige on my weighs more than the whole machine.

My mentor has this machine... it shouldn't be sold as a stock duplicator, it should be sold as a rotary chisel.. as that's are you get, is to take days off a hand cut stock, but nothing of a duplicator

Missed you these weekend

Hi All,
If anyone is actually looking, I still have my 5 spindle ( cuts 4 at-a-time ) North Star with a bunch of patterns that is going to leave my shop this summer. I will replace it with a one-to-one carver as I no longer do any production carving.
As I said, if anyone is looking drop me a note.
