Here is a sampling of 1pc aluminum ring/base systems I've used over the years. Talley LW's where nowhere near the first kid on the block, but no doubt they are the best of this lot.

What are the other brands? I see that the right couple are Talleys, but what are the other 2?

The pair on the left, I have no idea about. I bought them off a local gunsmith. The one in the middle I purchased from Lex Webernick.

They were made by Holden before they were Talley.

The Holden's I've seen looked just like the Talley's. Those don't.
