Will the factory CZ 550 stock fit a CZ BRNO Mod. ZKK-602?

I see where some stock mfgrs. are advertising one that will fit both. (McMillan)

I need to replace a ZKK 602 stock that is in Namibia, so I do not have the luxury of ordering one and sending it back if it doesn't fit.

Anyone know for sure?

Wendell:

You might want to think about contacting Jim Brockman of Brockman's Rifles. He does a lot of CZ after market work. Perhaps he might have a stock or a suggestion for you.

They don't fit without some surgery.

I'm just finishing restocking my ZKK 602 in 375 H&H with a drop dead piece af bastogne. The original stock may be available. The stock is english walnut, straight grained, factory checkered and finished.I have removed the rear pillar and the barrel lug. No damage on the stock. Has original black factory recoil pad. PM if interested..sure we can work out something.

Someone else that was a PH was after this...don't know if you're the same guy or not.

Pls PM me.

Excuse me? The only difference between a 602 and a 550 mag is the safety, trigger, and bottom metal. One will need to do 30 mins of work to make the top fit, as there will be a little inletting for the safety, and maybe an hour on the bottom, to accomodate the trigger group.

It's closer to "drop in" than a "drop in" stock from gag or RMF
