I have a friend looking for a Savage 10MLII firing pin, which would no longer be available. Since much of the receiver was the same as Mod's 10 and 12, did the 10MLII have the same firing pin? ************************ Our independence is dying.

Check www.gunpartscorp.com They have tons of old Savage parts. Temporarily closed due to Covid 19 but will eventually reopen.

Jacks First... they probably wont have the part... BUT,, they will have the part number.. which Savage won't,,, then look on ebay and you'll probably find it... I needed the rear action screw for mine.. it also acts as the boltstop… Savage no longer supports the ML10... but I found it on ebay… with the part number that Jacks First gave me....... they know their parts... go big or go home ........ Does someone have a drawing of it, to make more? TomP Our country, right or wrong. When right, to be kept right, when wrong to be put right. Carl Schurz (1829 - 1906)

Should be the same. I'll pull my 10ML2 apart this evening and check. Jeremy

Not the same. The tip is fat and the length is 4.375". I think that is about .375" shorter than the standard 10 pin. I would be surprised if you couldn't make it out of a standard pin, though. Hope that helps. I don't have a short action Savage to check, just long actions and the muzzleloader. Jeremy
