I have two Remington 700 LVSF rifles.

The following picture is typical of each

Here is my problem. On both of the rifles, the factory stock has degraded.

I would like to replace the degraded recoil pads with new pads. I would rather find pre-fit pads rather than grind to fit.

I purchased two from Midway supply which were supposed to fit. They didn't.

Anyone here know where to get a pre fit pad for the LVSF?
Thanks
GWB

Bobster,
Screw holes on my stock are 3.1" center to center. I tried the 19484 remington but it did not work. I'm contacting limbsaver to see if they have a replacement. I think this was a boyds stock on this model.
Thanks for the reply

How `bout some good news?

Had a buddy tell me just a couple of weeks ago that he had seen the same thing on a couple of his Remingtons. He contacted Remington and they said they were aware of that problem. So they sent him new ones at no cost.

Needless to say, they fit without grinding tu2 and they are from a different manufacturer, but work as well as the old ones did when new.

Best of luck to you.
