teflon coating on stainless rifles

is there anyone who tried to teflon coat a stainless barrel or rifle? please tell me about it

Teflon finishes can be applied to just about any type of steel/metal. As with any finish it is important to follow the directions for surface prep and application if you want good results.

this teflon coation ihave only heard about it. is it do att home work or i shall leave it to a gunsmit? can i buy a teflon coating kit in the market?

YES,

There are many products you can coat your gun with. Most require you do this:

Lightly sandblast the gun, with about 120 grit abrasive (aluminum oxide)

Apply the finish evenly (best way I have found is use an airbrush)

Bake the finish (See if it can fit into your oven)

If you feel comfortable doing those things you can do it yourself. There are some products that even come in a spray can already so all you need to do is prep the metal.


for every hour in front of the computer you should have 3 hours outside
