I am in the middle of my first small project. It is basically improving my Savage 110E in 7mmRemMag that I picked up on the cheap. Basically, all I am going to do is replace the cracked barrel nut, refinish the stock and barrel, and glass bed it. The trigger has already a factory replacement and is a 1.5 lb pull. I digress, What brand of bedding do you guys recommend I get? Do you prefer using the "glass" or the "gel"? I already have an order to place at MidwayUSA so I was going to use what they had to save on shipping. "We are what we repeatedly do. I've never used marinetex. However I have used a ton of the Acraglas Gel. The Gel is a lot easier to keep in the right places and more important keep out of the wrong places. As usual just my $.02 Paul K

I'll agree that the Acra Glass Gel stays in place but use a lot of Brownells Steel Bed. it depends on what the stock is made of. Come to the Dark Side, we have cookies!
