Got a Rem 40XB-BR in .223 that I use for prairie dogs. The trigger will not adjust below 2-1/2 lbs. Am familiar with Rem trigger adjustments and have done many of them. This is a stumper. Anyone have an idea, or can recommend a good trigger smith? .395 Family Member DRSS, po' boy member Political correctness is nothing but liberal enforced censorship

http://www.benchrest.com/ppr/ Jim's out of the rifle business now(as far as I know), and doing trigger services on 700's through Ebay. For the money, it is a first class job. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=...rd=1&ssPageName=WDVW I've fiddled with them myself for years, and thought I had it down...until I sent one to him. It really was a marked improvement.

My M40XBBR came with the Remington three-lever BR trigger set at 1.0 lb from the factory. Your trigger sounds like a two-lever hunting rifle trigger, which of course can be fit to the rifle. jim if you're too busy to hunt, you're too busy.
