Suggestions where I can find an inexpensive synthetic stock? A quick check of Ram-Line and Outers turned up nothing for the '03, only the '03A3. Not interested in anything pricey. Thanks. -WSJ

I recently purchased a "sporterized" (translation: butchered) '03 for the action. It sat in the basic Ramline stock, which seemed to fit the '03 just fine.

The action inletting for an '03 and a 03A3 are the same. It's only when you are using the military rear sight collar that the upper inletting is different and then only from the receiver foward for a few inches to clear the collar. If you are using sporter barrels none of this makes any difference as far as the upper inletting goes.
