Has anyone every swapped in a Timney Low Swing or Bueller Safety or a Mark X Mauser. Did it require using a different shroud?

Looks like I can just install a shroud, safety, and firing pin assembly from a regular '98. Does that sound right?

You need to have a different bolt shroud

Mr. Kobe,

Do you need the whole barreled action to install your two position, or can just the bolt be sent?

I know this is a “you asked for a steak house and I’m recommending Italian” answer, but consider the NECG 3-pos safety. After UPS made a mess of my shroud and 2 position wisner that Tom put on, I bit the bullet and got the NECG, which he is fitting now. The quality is first-rate and has a typical German engineering feel.
