*Who made this rifle?* FIXED PICTURE
I think it is a D'Arcy Echols, but one of you here would probably know?

Agreed Bill. Unfortunately, that is all I have. I was hoping someone could come up with more. I thought I had the entire rifle, but only this photo. I had is coded EchBurgess....does that help?

Is it the one in this thread?

Serial number looks to be the same, but I don't trust my eyes.

It is the Echols Burgess 416 built on the Enfield action.

Those are Burgess rings and Echols built the rifle stock and Tom the metalwork. It was posted on here a while ago.

Might be made by the same trio, but these are not the same rifles pictured. Both are amazing work, but I think these to be two differnt actions

The Burgess/Echols has an obvious milled round slot from a peep sight on the rear base and the one in quetion is sloped at the rear.

Here's the pics

I was speaking of the first set of pictures, not the later "how to" set. But as I said, I can't always trust my eyes.

Jeffe, go to the thread that Charles indicated on his link. Scroll up to the top and you will see the same rifle. BTW, it is not a trio, "Tom" is also Burgess, so it is a duet. Doubt if they can sing a lick though.
