I see all kinds of aftermarket stuff for Rugar 10/22 but I haven't seen any for the Marlin M60. Why ? I had a bunch of Rugers and none of them shot very good. This 99.00 Walmart special shoots better than any .22 I used in my life(its been a long life) including Win. m52 Remington Speed master Winchester 77 and so on.

because the ruger 10/22 is used as the (basis for) small bore rifle for alot of teams, and they ahve sold, litterally, millions of them.. therefore the market for add-ons is large enought\ jeffe opinions vary band of bubbas and STC hunting Club Information on Ammoguide about the416AR, 458AR, 470AR, 500AR What is an AR round? I have to ask; If it is the best shooter you have ever had why mess with it?. Take Care!

Oh I don't really need anything, just wondering. Have you ever shot one ? Suprised the heck out of me. I had one of the bull bbl. jobs with a fiberglass stock and a clip. I didn't like the clip, right at the carry point. So I sold it and bought a cheapie and it too shoots great ! ( it weighed less than 5 lbs. loaded scoped and slinged) I won't say what kind of groups I'm getting at 25,50 and 75 yds as no one would beliebve me anyway.

I would guess that nobody makes accessories for them because they are pretyy much thought of as junk. Not trying to offend you just stating why I think you can't get accessories for them.

I've thought about offering a guitar shaped stock for these particular guns. As much as they like to jam, I figured musicians might be interested... Hard luck, just keep it clean and lightly oiled, and DON'T be tempted into disassembling the trigger/feed throat assembly.

Malm hit the nail indirectly on the head; any fool can change parts on a 10/22 and usually it will still work. The Marlin wasn't designed with bubbas in mind. It is much harder to disassemble and reassemble correctly. "Experience" is the only class you take where the exam comes before the lesson.

I always thought that it was because the damned things were JUNK! I've had the pleasure or rather displeasure of having 6 of those POS's go through my hands half of them brand spanking new and all of them made for a hard time hitting the broad side of a barn while standing inside of it!!! Tom
