I have a great opportunity to get a new McMillan stock for a very good price ($300.00). My gun is a Model 70 classic stainless (30-06). The stock is a Featherweight LA M70. Will this Mc stock fit my rifle?

McMillan sells its internet special stocks for $300.00, so that price on that stock is no special deal. check out their internet special pages. You can get exactly the stock you want there sooner or later. You can make your barreled action fit, but that stock is designed for the trimmer featherweight barrel.

You might be happier with the Supergrade style stock. Just a thought. I have picked up a lot of stocks off their internet specials page.

Hmmmmmm, they may have raised their price to $350.00. Even so, that is not much extra to get exactly what you want.

Good luck,

lawndart
