Well, that's the "desease" I have in my mind these days. Bullets will be long, in the 750gr A-Max class, so COL will probably be somewhere around 4 inches. Can someone recommend an action that can handel such a cartrige fed from the magazine and that you can actually buy whitout searching/waiting for years or have the money of Mr Branson? (less than 1000$???)

if you want to feed from the mag, AND have 2000+ fps you are looking at a ruger #1 for being under 1k...

if you are willing to feed from the top, then i totally agree on the CZ..

and 500 A2

My mistake - 1000$ was only a suggestion for upper limit on the action only. Let's put the subject of money away for now. The CZ Magnum is to short anyway, COL for this combo will be around 4 inches. So gentlemen, I hoped some of you had experience with ekstra long magnum actions to share...
Cool

Absolutely no repeaters for that round under $1000. If you could find an open-minded gunsmith with good technical skills you might cut and weld two Enfields and stretch a magazine box assembly to fit. Probably a $2000 proposition, though.
