If I recall I bought this off ebay. Bought it quite a few years back and hung on to it till I figured out what to do with it. I posted a pic of this blank on the site here years back when I bought it. Had to be 15 years back give or take, thats how long I've hung on to it. I think I will use it for a 9.3x62 project. I plan to retire next year and want to have 4-5 or more barreled actions and stocks turned to whittle on once I retire. I plan to drink a lot of coffee and bang on a bunch of wood once I retire.

I took a few pics before I send it off to be duplicated at Custom Rifle Stocks, Mike Koluos old company. Mike turned quite a few stocks for me years back. I hope the pics show the sap wood so I could get wanted eyes on it.

Sap wood wasn't as noticable on ebay pics. I'm not too concerned about the sap wood but it's there. Looks like the pattern can be cheated up. Was laid out with a large pattern board too. Pattern bwas laid out on it before I bought it. I'll get some sap wood scraps just in case I have to touch the grip up.

I thought it was a pretty decent stock for 250 bucks, seems like thats what I paid for it. I wish I had the brother and sister to it for 250 bucks for my other projects.

Thanks, Billy

Nice blank, and don't worry about the sapwood. When you are finished it will not exist.

You are clicking on the wrong blue link on Imgur; Click on BBC code. Not Linked BBC code; you don't want a link; you want a picture.
You are 99% there; don't need another pic hosting service.
I can't see them either.
