I think it is most likely one of the HVA so called "strengthened" or "reinforced" model 96 produced commercially in the 1940's and designated as the model 640. That model was later built on FN large ring actions as well.

Commercial Husqvarna based on the M38 (96) action. Their so called "strengthened" action. A 96 without the thumbcut. Nice actions but basically a 96.

I have one of those Husqvarna barreled actions that I got from KEBCO.It is chambered in 9.3x62.The cartridge box interior is slightly longer than the 96 6.5x55 box and there is no cocking extension on the end of the bolt. These actions are very strong and commonly rebarreled to 30.06 in Sweden. My 9.3 barrel is also marked Husqvarna. Mori
