Reloader you may be right and our children will pay a price. Considering their population and how things seem to work out it may even be inevitable. I will say when they do they won't be a communist nation but will have an economy more like ours.

Hi all.

The 3 main objectors to the war in iraq
were: Russia,China, France. WHY?

1.Russia, why because they did not want us to find out that they had been selling arms to iraq, namely the GPS jamming system, now discovered by U.S troops in iraq.

2. China, has been selling iraq arms for the last twevle years. the first missile fired by iraq in this latest conflict was chinese!

3. France, with the promise of $65 billion dollar contracts in iraq, what else would you expect!

For them spout on that its immoral and against humanity, shows them for what they really are!!

I won't lower myself to some of the insults that have been slung like mud regarding various nationalities on this thread, although I would much like to!
I feel that this forum deserves better!!!!

Boycotting any product from whatever country only hurts the people and not the politicans, for they are the real enemy.

I have three comments:

1. I think it is great that we Americans (and many other countries) can still buy rifles at all these days. That is more important to me than keeping track of who owns what. If you buy a Remington or Ruger or Savage instead of a Winchester, you are not putting Americans out of work. So a 'Winchester boycott' is not very good evidence for the liberals and their (silly) class warfare argument.

2. Having folks from other countries on these forums is neat, so name-calling of nationalities seems to detract from the discussion.

3. Having said that, I don't think many people in France would know much about building rifles.

Customstocs post was interesting in that I had no idea that so many of what I thought were American made products were in fact not...saw a guy on FOX today that has an interesting site http://www.buyamerican.com/ , he too listed many companies that I thought were American but are not.

Nissan is 44% owned by Renault who put a French CEO in there a couple of years ago, Carlos Ghosn, he has been doing a good job but I would stay away from Nissans.
