First post over here. Thanks in advance. My friend wants a Lever action light caliber. What is anyone's experience with a 22/250 or .223 in a Browning? Accurate enough for medium range coyotes? Thanks again, Stumpy

the BLR is a fine and accurate rifle /////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////// "Socialism is a philosophy of failure, the creed of ignorance, and the gospel of envy, its inherent virtue is the equal sharing of misery." Winston Churchill

I've owned 2 BLRs: one BLR-81 in .243 that I traded for an original BLR, Belgian-made in .308 Winchester. Both shot consistently sub-MOA from the bench and are the best handling rifles I've ever carried in the field. I took an Antelope this past Summer with the .308 at just over 300 yards. Fine rifles and I'll probably always have at least one. John Farner If you haven't, please join the NRA!

The BLR is great rifle , I prefer the .308Win. Belgium made BLR but the Jap ones are excellent. A friend has a BLR in .223Rem. and uses it on everthing from Rabbits,Fox's,Kangaroos and Goats. Only critisism is barrel to short should be 22" for .223. Steve

Last summer I picked up my second BLR. This one I got from my local Gander Mountain, it is like new in 223. It did not have the box. I was tickled pink to see the price tag was less than $350.00. I did not put a scope on it as I am very happy with the results shooting at 75 yards. I am one gun away from being happy
