clayBrowning Lever Action
First post over here. Thanks in advance.
My friend wants a Lever action light caliber. What is anyone's experience with a 22/250 or .223 in a Browning? Accurate enough for medium range coyotes?
Thanks again,
Stumpy

Toomany ToolsI've owned 2 BLRs: one BLR-81 in .243 that I traded for an original BLR, Belgian-made in .308 Winchester. Both shot consistently sub-MOA from the bench and are the best handling rifles I've ever carried in the field. I took an Antelope this past Summer with the .308 at just over 300 yards. Fine rifles and I'll probably always have at least one.

RLIThe BLR is great rifle , I prefer the .308Win. Belgium made BLR but the Jap ones are excellent. A friend has a BLR in .223Rem. and uses it on everthing from Rabbits,Fox's,Kangaroos and Goats. Only critisism is barrel to short should be 22" for .223.

HairtriggerLast summer I picked up my second BLR.
This one I got from my local Gander Mountain, it is like new in 223. It did not have the box.
I was tickled pink to see the price tag was less than $350.00.
I did not put a scope on it as I am very happy with the results shooting at 75 yards.
