I saw the thread on bone black, on terry's (TC1) rifle a while back. It's is nowhere near finished yet. This is just mineral spirits.

Looks too Red??? I'm PC , partially color blind, so..

new pic.

To me it appears to have an orange cast to it. It doesn’t look out of place though. Needs more depth to the color or wood. Kinda plain looking.

personally, i HATE the rear most protrusion of the cheek piece .. which is why i pointed to the french curves -- the angle of the back back back of the cheek piece is wrong

the nose is also too pointy

and, yeah, it's orange

I don't like the recesses around the trigger guard. My Zastava had them, too, but I rasped out the wood behind to blend into the grip.
