For anyone who has been, is, or will be interested in this rifle, bottom metal is now available. Mine arrived today and it looks pretty good (thanks Rod). McMillan may be making stocks available soon. If interested, http://www.snipershide.com/ubb/ultimatebb.php?ubb=get_topic;f=4;t=001129

I've sent a sample out to McMillan, as they had some interest. And, of course, we at Acrabond are already restocking TRG-S rifles.
Our pattern will be RH, with a cheekpiece, the Sako palm swell, and the Sako montecarlo buttstock. The cheekpiece can be delivered in continental style (oval). The montecarlo hump can be removed for iron sighted rifles.
Pictures to come later.

Dan: The bottom metal was kind of a private venture to solve a personal TRG-S problem. I hate that plastic stock, but like its shape and fit. Had an entreprenual fit and created the darn thing (TRG-1 bottom metal kit). Made a hundred of them. Took a big hit with a mistake on the first run of frames. But McMillan might buy some and that will bring things back to break-even. The tooling's done, the vendors know the part. Next time, we'll wack them out in short order. In the meantime, the bottom metal allows Acrabond to build stocks for the TRG-S...so I reckon things will work out OK.
