I was wondering if anyone had rebarreled a stainless ruger in 7.62-39 to a 6ppc? It has same head and was thinking of putting Kreiger barrel on and wondered if it was worth the effort?

The conversion to 6ppc shouldbe a really good one. It is likely the most accurate cartridge you will ever get to work with. Regards, Bill.

Dear Rockcreek, Cobalt and bill. I did the 6mmPPC for a customer 2 months ago and he is really happy with it. We used a Douglas barrel and he is using the rifle as a combination Coyote/digger rifle. He is very happy with the accuracy etc. My 6PPC shoots really good too. Aloha, Mark[in Ore]

I have some property joining 13500 ac of wildlife management area so i get to see lots of critters. I can usually pull in coyotes if we use livestock that has died.
