I was wondering if anyone had rebarreled a stainless ruger in 7.62-39 to a 6ppc? It has same head and was thinking of putting Kreiger barrel on and wondered if it was worth the effort?

Rock Creek,
I have that rifle also and was thinking about doing the same conversion. Got put on the back burner in favor of other projects. Let me know what you decide. Cobalt

The conversion to 6ppc shouldbe a really good one. It is likely the most accurate cartridge you will ever get to work with. Regards, Bill.

Dear Rockcreek, Cobalt and bill. I did the 6mmPPC for a customer 2 months ago and he is really happy with it. We used a Douglas barrel and he is using the rifle as a combination Coyote/digger rifle. He is very happy with the accuracy etc. My 6PPC shoots really good too. Aloha, Mark[in Ore]

[Thank you very much.I am going to order Kreiger barrel and try to have one by latter part of September. I have lots of of sightings of coyotes and crows around that time of year on. I have some property joining 13500 ac of wildlife management area so i get to see lots of critters. I can usually pull in coyotes if we use livestock that has died. Thanks RockcreekQUOTE]Originally posted by kailua custom:
