I've got a bedded synthetic stock that needs painting quickly.

I can ship it tomorrow, and it can be where it needs to be by Tuesday of next week.

I need it back by the 18th of April.

Anyone doing any stock painting soon?

Food for thought, you can order paint from Brownells and DIY. It is not to hard to do.

Strip all of the stuff off of it, sand it, wipe it down with acetone, and paint it with Krylon Fusion paint. Dries quickly and is tougher than several epoxy paints I've tried.

You might want to check over at 24hourcampfire. The guy that runs the place has a stock painting business, he might be able to turn it around quick.

Did you PM CAS II? He has Riflestockpainting.com listed as his website...

Caveat emptor as I have never dealt with him.

If it were me, I'd find someone local, possibly a body shop but there is no way in hell I'd ship a stock that I absolutely had to have back in a week and a half. A poor paint job that you'd redo later may make you grit your teeth but nowhere near as bad as if the stock got damaged in shipping or lost.

for every hour in front of the computer you should have 3 hours outside

Do it yourself, and worry about it when you get back.

Thanks for the replies and offers. I got in touch with Rick Bin first, and he can turn it around on time for me.

Thanks again for the offers.
