I have a CZ550LH that I am considering converting it to a 416 or 458.
It is unlikely I'll ever hunt anything larger than buff so not sure the 458 is even a good option.
416Rem. or Rigby?
458WM or Lott?
Or maybe just sell it & look for a LH Win. 70 action to build on.

Conversion to the 416 Remington would be simple since there would be no modification necessary to the bolt face. The rifle would still hold I believe five down and the 416 is a pretty good all around caliber for Africa. I've used all the rest except the Lott and I think for your purposes the Remingtone might be perfect.

i have a barrel for you.. a 458 lott barrel, cz, that you can screw off the 375, send it to me with a check for 150, and you have your 458 lott, just needs headspace and timing

Bought a used LH Rem 70 in 7rum yesterday.
I going to have a 416 rem built off of it.
Think I'll sell the CZ even though it shoots real well.
