Does anyone know where to get bare kits or parts to make fitted gun cases? Both for take downs and full length rifles? Not hard sided airline approved travel cases, but something akin to the high end shotgun cases. I wanted to start with a frame or skeleton and do my own leather and hide work on it, etc. "Evil is powerless if the good are unafraid" -- Ronald Reagan "Ignorance of The People gives strength to totalitarians." I've only built wooden cases but here's a link for thin plywood (aircraft type).. though you could probably use door skin plywood. http://www.misterart.com/store/view/001/group_id/251/Mi...in-Birch-Plywood.htm https://www.balsastore.com/ round corners??? http://bd-international.com/

I have restored the interiors of several old english shotgun cases. Lowes has a line of oak in 1" thru 4 inch widths, 3/16 thick and several lengths that are perfect for making the dividers. Tandy is so high on their leather that you can buy one from Jeffs outfitters for less than you can build it. DRSS(We Band of Bubba's Div.) N.R.A (Life) T.S.R.A (Life) D.S.C.
