Return them to the smelter and turn them into plow shares.....IMO they are not at all useful for sporters. /////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////// "Socialism is a philosophy of failure, the creed of ignorance, and the gospel of envy, its inherent virtue is the equal sharing of misery." On Guns America they would be described as having minor surface rust and some pitting below the woodline. ______________________________ "Truth is the daughter of time." Francis Bacon

Someone that's smart enough would load the whole bunch up and take 'em to one of those gun buyback cities and swap them for a truck load of money. Was it Boston a couple months ago?? somewhere back in that area. Never seen any restrictions other than they'd pay so much, in the article I read and am referring to it was a flat $200 per gun, no questions asked. These would be perfect for such a deal. Contact some gun owner resident to do the selling so they'd qualify and split the cash. I'm damned serious about this too. George "Gun Control is NOT about Guns' "It's about Control!!" Thanks Rusty: Not many of my 'opinions' come out 'funny'. Most tend to piss people off! Wouldn't that be a thrill to do though??? Take care, George "Gun Control is NOT about Guns' "It's about Control!!" Join the NRA today!" LM: NRA, DAV, George L. Dwight

George, that would be PERFECT Now, there was a mescerschmidt pulled out of the rhine in france that had gown down without an engine failure (out of gas?).. they pulled it out after FIFTY years and used some giant tank chemical treatment, that remove the rust from the surface (even though it was caked up) and were able to , after 6 months, pull the motor down, replace bearings and seals, and get it started... not quite the same as having a 55kpsi explosion going off next to you face, though jeffe opinions vary band of bubbas and STC hunting Club Information on Ammoguide about the416AR, 458AR, 470AR, 500AR What is an AR round? OT... Jeffe, Wasn't that some type of reverse electroplating method they used to pull corrosive off? I saw a show on this a while back but can't remember the exact name for this process. Jason "Chance favors the prepared mind."
