Couple options.

Bevel the top on both sides at the top to matching angles.

Cut forend back and reshape

Cut forend back, and add an ebony forend tip.

I wold be most likely to do the second or third option.


Yes it's cocked, and it has bullets too!!!

I like Rhys's idea of cutting it off and adding a ebony forend tip. You also have enough wood to reshape the whole stock if you would like.

Yep like the others said. If you don't want ebony then a contrasting wood would work as well.

Do you have the broken off part? If so glue it back with a QUALITY professional wood glue.

Then when dry drill two small holes and use two lengths of THICK stiff nylon fishing line as a stiffener.

Say 40 thou stuff.

Decided to go with the angle cut. Now need I need to do the finish work. Thanks for all your input!
