RhysCouple options.
Bevel the top on both sides at the top to matching angles.
Cut forend back and reshape
Cut forend back, and add an ebony forend tip.
I wold be most likely to do the second or third option.

congomikeI like Rhys's idea of cutting it off and adding a ebony forend tip. You also have enough wood to reshape the whole stock if you would like.

enfieldsparesDo you have the broken off part? If so glue it back with a QUALITY professional wood glue.
Then when dry drill two small holes and use two lengths of THICK stiff nylon fishing line as a stiffener.
Say 40 thou stuff.
