How close is it dimensionaly to a small ring mauser or a short action mauser?

Not at all. It is for all intents and purposes a standard 98 action in length and external measurements anyway.

The MKX actions is simply a large ring commercial M98.

as stated, the mark X standard action, either .473 or .532 boltface are basically straight 98s (couple cuts here or there)

the mini only LOOKS like a mauser, it isn't
