You hit that right on the head, flaco! Bill is one of those rare guys you meet every so often that graciously gives far more than he asks for or expects in return. I am truly honored to call him my friend.

Thank you everyone for your good wishes. I will have email access over there and I hope I will be able to poke in here on occasion. I have learned a lot from all of you and have been fortunate enough to make some really good friends from this forum.

I am lucky in that I will be joining a unit already in place and will be returning with them in NOV.

I do ask that you all remember the rest of the soldiers who are deployed and those that wont be coming back. They and their families need your prayers most of all.

Thanks for all the knowledge and time you all have so generously shared.

M1 Tanker,
Best of luck to you on your upcoming journey to the sand-box. I really appreciate your service to our country! Keep yourself safe. If you need any goodies over there please send me your address. My wife and I have been sending "care" packages for the last year to a helo pilot and he has since rotated home safely so we would be happy to send you a care package once in a while.
Best of luck,
BJB

Just got off the phone with Bill, the buses were pulling up to take them to the airport/airfield. He was in good spirits, he said it was pretty hard to say good bye to the family and I know how he feels. My unit is getting ready to go in 3 months. Who ever gets his mailing address first please post it. So we can send him the occasional care package.

John
