I have a tang safety Model 77 Ruger in 7 Mag with a barrel that's nearly shot out. I'm told a rebarrel to .375 Ruger would be nothing more than installing the barrel and adjusting headspace. As a long time proponent of .375 caliber, that sounds pretty good to me. However, I'm a bit skeptical that any caliber change could be that easy. Is it? What about magazine length, bolt face, feeding issues, the need to install recoil crossbolts, etc.? Need some knowledgeable advice on this proposed project, so what do you think? Is this a relatively straight forward conversion or no? Cpt. Jack | ||
