| Pretty much any stock for a Mauser 98 can be used, there's not much differance between them. Just keep an eye on the barrel channel, the one for military barrels will be stepped. Try SARCO.com . They have been advertising Parker-Hale walnut "take-off" stocks, fully finished for less than $100. |

| Thanks I can't seem to get to sarco? I don't know how extensive the damage is, He's a farmer so I'm sure he'd to have tried to fix it if he coulda by now. Seemed to miss a few mulies when they were out last month using it. |
