I own a couple of these and the most recently aquired one is a 9.3x62 African.

I think a Echols legend would look good.

Anyway to make that work?

It's just a McMillian fiberglass stock, right? At $600.

So I order an uninletted one and have some one carve on it with their mill?

I'll send him an email.

I think HS Precision makes one. I bought a Ruger stainless 280 AI from a forum member that came w/ a HS stock.

Yes, you definitely don't want to take that 9.3 stock into the field.

Look up Joseph Smithson's website and see the custom synthetic stocks he is producing in very limited amount. They are absolute beauties in form and function. Don't know about the cost or time to produce.
