Can a synthetic stock be used as a pattern to dup onto wood. I thought there might be too much flex in it.

i HEAR it can be done on the harder stocks, but i've tried with plastic and fiberglass, and it just didn't turn out right...

that is, you might could use the result for a wood pattern, but you are asking for trouble.

I talked to Tim at Northwood gunstocks about duping my HS precision drop mag stock and he said "no problem".
