I bought a Blackburn unit, bottom metal, from the classified forun a short time ago and put it away when I got it. At the time, it was advertised as a "pre-'64, 375 length, new, in the white, Blackburn unit". Fine! I found out, and Pre-war model 70 keep your comments to yourself, that it is not correct to the m70. I seems the guard screw hole spacing is longer than the Model 70 by about 5/16". The original magazine box fits correctly. On the bottom is stamped "Blackburn", a copyright logo and the number 2. According to Balckburn's website, this is correct for the Model 70 and I am trying in vain to get an answer from them. ANy suggestions? Jim W?
