I have a HS Precision takedown in 7MM ultra mag.Can I order another barrel in 223 ackley if I get a new barrel,bolt and mag?If not why?

I think you need to ask HS that question- it is their action.

With enough time and money I sure anything is possible. Why not just go out and buy a 223 size action but a barrel on it. By the time you get down messing with this project you well have more money and time spent messing around then if you started from new.
